Who is Localnomad?

Localnomad is an accommodation agency specializing in apartment, villa and apartment hotel bookings. All the aforementioned properties are managed by hotel groups, estate agencies and private owners. In order to make a reservation you need to search via the chosen dates of your stay, indicating the number of people in your group. From here you can select the property that you desire, proceed to fill out the reservation details and confirm the booking. Upon confirmation you will receive an email with your reservation details. Where can I find the individual check-in and check-out conditions, and the trade conditions of the property operators?

Localnomad hand picks properties from a wide range of property operators including apartment hotel operators, property managers, real estate agencies and private owners.

Each property operator publishes their properties on Localnomad.com and establishes their own individual check-in check-out conditions, rates, payment terms and cancellation conditions, which are clearly displayed on each property page.

Is the price inclusive of any tourism tax?

Stays in certain destinations may be subject to tourism taxes. Each property owner has their own rules and preferences in regards to paying these taxes and so we ask that you consult the information page for each property for guidance.

Do I make a down payment to the owner?

Our partners either ask for a down payment (of between 15% and 100% of the total sum) or a deposit when you make your reservation with Localnomad. Each owner has their own cancellation conditions so we request that you consult them on the information page for each property. For additional information, please contact our Customer Service team.

Where can I find and information regarding to the address or contact details for the property owner?

All of the information relating to the owner's contact details can be found the confirmation of your reservation that you will be sent to you as soon as the down payment or deposit has been paid.

What time can I check-in?

Arrivals usually take place on Monday and Saturday between 1pm and 8pm. However this may vary in accordance with the owners’ individual conditions.

What happens if I arrive late? Or on a Sunday/Public Holiday?

A late arrival after 8pm on a week day or an arrival at any time on a Sunday or Public Holiday may be subject to extra charges depending on the property and individual owner conditions. We request that you read the property or individual owner conditions on the property information page. For more information, please contact our Customer Service team.

How do I get the keys? Check-in?

Most owners will arrange an appointment with you either at the rental property itself or in their offices that are situated nearby. However, the check-in process may vary from owner to owner therefore we ask that you refer to the conditions on the property's information sheet. When do I need to check-out?

Check-out is normally between 10am and 11am or later (depending on the property). If you wish to check-out earlier or later please contact the property owner directly. You need to specify at arrival that you desire this service which may only be available upon payment of a supplement.

What are the rules concerning a deposit?

You will normally be asked for a deposit before or during check-in by the property owner to ensure you fulfill the rental agreement. The method of payment varies according to each individual owner. If the property has been in no way damaged or altered, you will be returned your deposit either when you check-out or a few days later. The amount required for the deposit is indicated on the information pages for each property and may vary in accordance with the total duration of your stay.

Does the accommodation have internet connection?

In general, all of our properties have internet access however, we advise that you check this information in the accommodation details for your apartment. Please note that network, cable and connection problems may arise. For more information please contact the property owner directly.

Does the accommodation have its own parking space?

Certain properties may have their own parking space for guests however sometimes this service is subject to a supplement. Please see the information page for each property for further help.
