Apartments in Piazza di Spagna in Rome

Let Localnomad help you enjoy your days in beautiful Rome, in one of our apartments in Piazza di Spagna. Between the Spanish steps, designed by Francesco de Sanctis, and the fashion forward area around your apartment, we promise that you will adore your stay here.

The Spanish steps date back to the eighteenth century and was built at the request of the French Ambassador Etienne Gueffier. These 135 steps connect Piazza di Spagna to Piazza Trinita dei Monti. Here there is an elegant church with the same name of the square.

In conjunction with these exquisite steps is a boat shaped fountain, created by Bernini and referred to by Romans, as Romans La Barcaccia (large tub). This stands as the focal point to the square.

The Piazza di Spagna is a meeting point for many tourists who enjoy the steps of the staircase to rest and admire the beautiful Roman architecture and style. This area is famous for its numerous palaces and old churches.

Adjacent to the square are streets known for their shops, such as Via Condotti, where all the high end stores are located, or Via Margutta, famous for being the place of artists, art galleries, and great restaurants.  While you are over there, you can easily visit the Trevi Fountain, the Coliseum, the Pantheon and the Piazza del Popolo.

Rome Tip: Try a typical Italian coffee at the famous Café Greco in Via dei Condotti, then visit the home of the English poet John Keats.
